1The Challenge
Existing deck was failing and needed full demo. Homeowner wanted maximum usable space underneath the deck with minimal posts blocking the patio area below. Standard framing would require multiple support posts.
2Our Solution
Built a 44ft x 18ft deck using engineered LVL (laminated veneer lumber) beams to span the full width with fewer posts. Double picture frame border pattern on the decking. Built staircases on both sides for yard access. Traditional wood railings.
3The Result
Full teardown and rebuild in 14 days. LVL beams allowed for open space underneath. Dual staircases provide access from both sides of the yard.
