1The Challenge
Homeowner wanted a ground-level deck with multiple sections at different heights. Corner of the yard had an awkward grade change. Wanted natural wood look, not composite.
2Our Solution
Built a 32ft x 22ft low-profile multi-level cedar deck with multiple platform sections. Used cascading waterfall steps in the corner to handle the grade change—each step wraps down naturally instead of a single staircase.
3The Result
12-day build. Cedar provides the natural wood grain they wanted. Waterfall steps solved the corner grade issue and look clean.
"Waterfall steps work well for corners and grade changes. They look better than a regular staircase in tight spaces."
